Join Alexander McNaughton for an evening on how to grow your own veggies in small spaces using recycled containers!

Learn how to get a successful pea crop out of a small space, how to plant and harvest micro-greens and delicious fragrant herbs, and how to grow bush squashes and other crops that are productive in small spaces. Come and learn how to grow your own food in small spaces year round!

Note: We will be building our own containers that will be sent home with each participant full of soil and seeds. If you do not have access to a vehicle, please let us know upon registration, and we will arrange to have your container delivered to you.

**REGISTRATION CLOSED*

See you there!

Alexander McNaughton has had his hands in the earth since the very beginning. Now living in Vancouver, Alexander has been consumed by a love affair with wild and local food. His true passion lies in sharing the joy of real food with folks of all ages. Expect to find him in the deep woods with gangs of small children hunting for edible mushrooms or haunting farmers markets with a wooden wine crate filled to the brim on his shoulder. Militant about eating salad on a regular basis, he is never without snacks of emerald and jade leaves -- if you ask nicely he might even share!

  1. Even after moving into a house from an apartment I find myself with limited space. Microgreens and herbs are always my favorite, along with Jade and Aloe plants both indoors and outdoors.
